It’s 1995. When Matthew, a straight, autistic man, looks for places to meet new people, he finds the perfect spot down the street from where he works that’s quiet with no stimulation whatsoever — a gay bar. Spectrum brings two communities together in this new musical comedy that will allow adult audiences of all abilities to attend.

Becca and Lindsey are the top 2 violinists at what is widely considered to be the worst music conservatory in the US, and possibly the world. But, when a contest grants the winner a chance to play at Carnegie Hall, they see a ticket out, regardless of the cost. in theory explores mental health through a uniquely musical lens as these students find out what it truly means to become the best of the best.
